There are beautiful people and then there are these two–beyond beautiful and so photogenic. Plus, they are two of the sweetest people you will ever meet. They were up for anything I asked them to do…..even if that meant jumping in the pool with all of their clothes on at the end of the evening. We started the session off at their beautiful home in Glen Arm, Maryland with their two pups. Their back yard is gigantic even in non-city terms. They have a pool, beautiful landscaping, and even a lily pad. Alissa had her two pups dressed in adorable little bowties–so cute! I told them I could have photographed their entire session in their backyard but we had to mix it up a little so we headed off to Loch Raven Reservoir to see the beautiful sunset that happens every night there. Earlier in the session, I had mentioned jumping in the pool at the end of the night. When I mentioned it again after we finished up at Loch Raven, Alissa said she thought I was joking. Nope, I wasn’t :). I had so much fun photographing Alissa & Sam’s engagement session and I’m so excited to photograph their Great Oak Manor wedding next year!
