Almost Valentine’s Day | Baltimore Boudoir Photographer

This is an unusual post for me in that it is a boudoir session.  I typically don’t post these types of sessions, but I thought to myself that some of you might not be familiar with what a boudoir session actually is.  First off, it is not nude photos but rather the nudity is just suggested and implied.  A woman might be in lingerie, her husband’s button up, or something as simple as a sexy dress.  Women have boudoir photos taken for many different reasons.  Some have them taken to surprise their soon to be husbands on their honeymoon, to celebrate an anniversary, to show off their new body after loosing weight, to remember how hot they were 30 years from now, etc.  As much as the men might think these photos are for them, they are honestly most of the time for the woman.  What woman doesn’t want to get all glammed up with professional hair and make-up and feel beautiful and sexy?  More often than not, when a women has a boudoir session, she is super nervous which is understandable since most of us have never had photos like this taken before.  Afterwards, it is a totally different story.  Boudoir sessions provide a new level of confidence for the women which ultimately will spice things up romantically with her partner.  In this busy life we all lead, its easy to get caught up and to forget about ourselves.  Its nice to take time to feel beautiful and to feel like a woman again.

Below are some of my favorites from a recent Baltimore session.  This young women wanted to surprise her husband for Valentine’s Day.  And just so you know, each of these photos was approved by this woman to post so I could show you examples of a boudoir session.  Privacy during and after these sessions is of the utmost importance to me.

I will have a big announcement in the next couple of days regarding some boudoir mini sessions coming up very soon–just in time for Valentine’s Day.  You do not want to miss it and I only have 6 spots available so if you are interested, contact me today at ashley@ashleymichellephoto.com and I will give you some of the information before anyone else.
