Amanda & Jeff’s wedding day was a blast from beginning to end! We started the day with an amazing harbor view in one of the Four Seasons suites while Amanda & her bridesmaids got ready. When it was time for the first look and portraits, we realized it was a tad bit windy outside, but not a problem for these two because they were just excited for the wedding day to be here. And besides, the wind kept us cool during the dead of summer. The ceremony took place on the Splash Terrace. Surprisingly with as many weddings as I have photographed at the Four Seasons, I had never photographed a ceremony on the Splash Terrace. It is absolutely gorgeous! For a minute, you feel like you are in a secret garden with all of the greenery, trees, etc. But then you look to your left and see a beautiful reflection of the harbor off the side of the building and the city view beyond the trees. Finally you remember that you are actually in the city on a rooftop. It really is a great juxtaposition! Both Amanda’s Mom and Dad had the honor of walking her down the aisle. After a very sweet and emotional ceremony, it was time to head to the Cobalt Ballroom for the reception. Both Amanda and Jeff work in the sports industry so they are obviously huge sports fans each having their favorite teams. These teams and this rivalry might have been mentioned a couple of times during toasts and made for non stop laughter. And those smiles didn’t leave their faces the rest of the evening. The dancing started and never stopped. The microphone was even handed over to one of the guests at the end of the night for a special performance.

I’m so happy for Amanda & Jeff! It is obvious they have a great support system around them and I know this will aid them in their future together. Congrats you two!
