Wedding

Oh, these two! They are both just so awesome and hilarious so of course they are going to be even more awesome and more hilarious when they are together. I think I said this during their engagement session, but typically I am the one trying to make people laugh. With these two, they were making me laugh the entire time. And the same was true for their wedding day as well. I started my day off with Ashley and her bridesmaids while they got ready and then headed over to the gorgeous Chesapeake Bay Beach Club on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. I spent some time with Frank and his groomsmen while they got ready and then squeezed in a few portraits before the start of the ceremony. The ceremony was outside overlooking the Bay Bridge–gorgeous!! Ashley and Frank were emotional the whole day and were just so happy to be marrying one another. Frank tried to hide it as he kept covering up his face (see ceremony picture below), but I knew what was going on underneath. After a very sweet ceremony and some even sweeter toasts, the party began in the Tavern Ballroom. Ashley surprised Frank with a groomsmen cake. It was a bulldog (a Georgia bulldog which of course I wasn’t too happy about–Go Vols!) wearing a Phillies jersey and displaying all of Frank’s favorite sports teams. Frank’s face was priceless when he saw it. Ashley’s Grandma was hilarious. She is a tiny little woman that has spunk and I like it! I may or may not have followed her around all evening trying to catch a picture of her dancing. She loves to dance and was dancing all night long, but hid every time I would come near her. It became this game we played. I think I might have won :). The night ended with a beautiful sparkler exit.

I’m so excited that Ashley and Frank have found one another and I’m so happy that I was able to be there to capture the memories from their wedding day. Congrats you two!
