If rain on your wedding day means a couple will have good luck, Cassy and Dave are destined to be together forever…..and this would not surprise me at all. This couple was even calm and collective when the ceremony location had to be moved to the covered reception area in case it started raining again. Cassy and Dave decided to have a first look so we could take pictures before the ceremony.  The bad news is that it had been raining all morning and the grounds of the picturesque venue of Shade Trees and Evergreens were wet and muddy.  No worries though because we were still able to find some gorgeous places for their photos anyway.  After the ceremony, Dave even convinced Cassy to go stomping through those wet and muddy grounds which made for some fun and playful pictures.  How many brides do you know would just take off their shoes, hike up their dress, and start walking through the mud for the sake of pictures?  LOVE IT.

The reception started up and the dancing began.  Dave is a firefighter and I’m pretty sure his fellow firefighters must have been practicing their dance moves in the firehouse during their down time before the wedding.  Usually its the girls who dominate the dance floor but the guys won out at this wedding.  They were break dancing, square dancing, sandwiching, and leap-frogging just to name a few.  They even had a special song they sang on bended knees to Cassy. Oh, and I got to see several Grandmas dancing during this wedding which I love :). Such a beautiful and fun wedding!
