I’ve photographed plenty of weddings at vineyards but I’ve always wanted to photograph an engagement session at a vineyard so when Karen & Kirpal mentioned during their consult that they wanted their engagement sessions photographed at the gorgeous Black Ankle Vineyards, I was sold. We started off this gorgeous fall session by heading up….as far as we could go. Once at the top of the hill we had an absolutely amazing view of the entire farm. We drank wine between a few vines and then headed back down the hill for some time in the tasting room, a gorgeous sunset complete with a campfire, and even had some time left over for the barrel room. I can’t wait to photograph Karen & Kirpal again next fall for their Elkridge Furnace Inn wedding.
