Nasrine & Brian | The Grand | Baltimore Wedding Photographer

Oh, how I just LOVE Nas & Brian’s wedding! From the candlelit ceremony, to the ghost chairs at the reception, to the stunning backdrop that The Grand in Baltimore offers, this wedding was glamorous from beginning to end but I would expect nothing less from these two. Nas & Brian are two seriously good looking people who happen to be very much in love and that just shines so brightly in photos. They sort of make my job too easy. I also was able to work with Tami and Rebekah from Joie Events for the first time and they too were fabulous! They put sooo much sweat equity into making this wedding perfect for Nas & Brian. Not only did I see it but Nas bragged about them so much throughout the process which was so great to hear because I love working with people who are awesome at their jobs! Tami and Rebekah put together the flower arrangements, made the escort cards, put together the Coney hotdog station, and so much more on top of all the other normal things planners do. The end result was stunning! I’m so excited that Nas & Brian found each other and I wish them much happiness in their lives together!

Lizzie & Adam | Aspen Wye River House | Eastern Shore Wedding Photographer

Lizzie & Adam are seriously the sweetest people you will ever meet….like seriously. Seriously. Their love for each other is so evident and their excitement to marry each other could be seen during every part of their wedding day. And can we talk about Lizzie’s wedding dress? I see a lot of dresses and honestly after a while, most of them start to look the same. Lizzie’s dress stayed true to her classic style but then add in lace, sleeves, sheer overlays, and a low back with buttons…stunning. When you combine a stunning dress, a loving couple, and the gorgeous backdrops of the Aspen Wye River House on the Eastern Shore in Maryland, you get epic wedding portraits. I seriously could have photographed these two lovebirds at the Aspen Wye River House all day long and not been bored. Lizzie & Adam invited only their closest family and friends to attend their wedding so it was an intimate affair full of love and celebration. I’m so happy for these two and I’m so honored I was able to photograph their wedding day!

Tracey & McCabe | Fishing Boat | Baltimore Engagement Photographer

When discussing engagement sessions during consults, I always encourage couples to do something different than the typical random “park” type engagement session. There certainly isn’t anything wrong with those types of engagement sessions (and they are super beautiful), but I think it’s great when couples include something personal as part of their engagement session. I’ve been on sailboats, canoes, eaten ice cream cones, amusement parks, etc. Each of these things meant something personal to the couple which makes for more meaningful photos. Plus, when thinking outside of the box, we can create some really epic and creative photos together. So, I always say this to couples during consults but most choose the “park” type photos anyway….which once again is TOTALLY fine. But Tracey & McCabe decided to take me up on my advice. They decided to rent a boat….and not just any boat, a fishing boat. We toured around the Baltimore Harbor and were able to get photos with pretty much every single landmark that Baltimore has to offer. So fun!! And there isn’t anyplace better to capture a sunset than on the water. Loved this engagement session and loved working with these two. So excited for their spring wedding at the always amazing Belvedere.

Danielle & Cade | Baltimore Museum of Industry | Baltimore Wedding Photographer

Danielle & Cade were married on the waterfront at the Baltimore Museum of Industry in Baltimore, Maryland. Before the wedding ceremony, Danielle & Cade had a first look so we could take portraits beforehand and not interfere with the celebration after their nuptials. During the first look, I’m pretty sure Cade was tearing up before he even saw Danielle and then when he saw her for the first time, the tears came pouring. It was so incredibly sweet and I’m pretty sure there wasn’t a dry eye of anyone else who was watching. When a groom cries, it gets me every time! After the ceremony, the party began and it was definitely quite the party. Danielle & Cade held their wedding on Memorial Day so a Monday when most people (if not from out of town) have to go to work the next day. Typically weddings that fall on a night before a work day are more low key in regards to the partying aspect. Not this crew! They had some killer dance moves and definitely kept it entertaining. Love receptions like that! Danielle & Cade (and their family and friends) were so thankful and sweet the entire day and I couldn’t be happier for these two! Big congrats to Danielle & Cade and I’m so happy I could be a part of it all.

Stephanie & Chris | Silver Swan Bayside | Eastern Shore Wedding Photographer

The first time I met Stephanie was at a business lunch. She had just started working at the Baltimore Aquarium on the events side and had seen weddings I had photographed there and loved my work! We met to talk about photographing weddings at the Aquarium, but during the meeting, I also found out she was engaged. At the time, she had said they weren’t in a rush to get married and she honestly didn’t know if they would have a typical wedding. I didn’t think anything of it until I received an email from her about a year later. They had set a date and wanted me to photograph their wedding! Yay! I was so excited. I met with Stephanie & Chris at Pazo in Baltimore and we ate/drank and chatted….and honestly hardly talked about the wedding at all. It was great to get to know Chris since I had never met him before and of course get to know Stephanie better. These two are seriously the nicest and sweetest ever and I’m so happy I was able to photograph their wedding.

Fast forward to the wedding day at Silver Swan Bayside on the Eastern Shore. The forecast called for rain (just like it did every single other weekend in May). When you are getting married on the waterfront and that is the main reason you choose the venue, this is not something you want to hear. BUT Stephanie & Chris handled the news like a champ and we hurried through portraits during the breaks in the rain. Luckily the rain was on and off again during portraits so we were still able to get some fabulous outdoor photos. The ceremony was moved inside but no problem because with the glass doors/windows throughout, you still had the view and the ceremony became much more intimate. And the best thing is these two are married! They wrote their own vows and their joy beamed from ear to ear all night long. After dinner and toasts, it was time to get this party started and party is what this crew did! I LOVE seeing that not only is the couple having a great time but the guests are too and this was one of those weddings. Soooo much fun dancing! Big congrats to Stephanie and Chris and I’m so excited I could be a part of your day!
