Megan & Isaac | Huntingfields Farm | Baltimore Wedding Photographer

I was excited about Megan & Isaac’s wedding for several reasons. First, these two are a blast and are such fun and unique people. Second, they were having an awesome country band and I just knew it would be a “let your hair down” kind of wedding. And last, LynnAaron from Eventi was designing the wedding so I knew there would be a bizillion cute details. And I was spot on about it all. We started the day off with Isaac and his crew. They got ready in an RV. This was not just any old RV but more of a if you were a traveling rock star kind of RV. Isaac’s family set up a tailgate right outside the RV and were hanging out until the wedding began. It was so fun and such a unique place for getting ready photos. After getting ready with Megan and her girls in the onsite cabin, we took some portraits and headed to the ceremony which was right on the grounds of the gorgeous Huntingfields Farm. I have photographed many barn weddings before but Huntingfields Farm is by far my favorite. Never have I seen a barn venue with such gorgeous grounds. It is one of those places that I could have photographed portraits at forever. At any rate, unfortunately we couldn’t do that because we had a reception to get to a party to be had. Delta Spur who are the nicest group of guys ever kept the dance floor packed and were such a blast. I don’t listen to country music on a regular basis but it does remind me of home and definitely makes me want to dance. Since Isaac is in the sheep business and a lot of Megan & Isaac’s friends are as well, they thought auctioning off a dance with each of them was the way to go. They had real auctioneers (the fast talking kind) who were their friends of course. A dance with these two did not come cheap and it was so fun to watch people bid back and forth. At the end of the party, a firework display commenced. I had so much fun with these two and I wish them a lifetime of happiness and sheep-loving together!

Nicole & Craig | Walters Art Museum | Baltimore Wedding Photographer

I have been wanting to photograph a wedding at The Walters Art Museum in downtown Baltimore FOREVER!! It is such a stunning wedding venue and for portraits, we get to roam the museum and take photographs. What could be better? Perhaps having an awesome couple along for the ride. Craig works in the cinematography business so he appreciates artistic photography and couples who appreciate artistic photography are my favorite kind of client. On wedding day, we started off at the Mt. Vernon Hotel for getting ready photos. The entire wedding day was hit or miss with rain so we were only able to get a few photos outside but we didn’t mind because we had the gorgeous Walters Art Museum to explore. After a gorgeous ceremony in the Sculpture Garden, we explored the museum while guests were in cocktail hour. And then after a room flip, we were back in the Sculpture Garden again for the wedding reception. I had so much fun photographing Nicole & Craig and I couldn’t be happier for this traveling duo!

This is such an outstanding set! Great job!

Alissa & Sam | Great Oak Manor | Eastern Shore Wedding Photographer

When I first met Alissa & her mom at their consultation, we hit it off right away. Alissa is the youngest of three sisters and I am the oldest of three sisters. Hearing Alissa talk about her sisters made me think of the bond my sisters and I have. Plus, Alissa is about the sweetest person you will ever meet so there really isn’t much to love. For the entire year of planning, Alissa had dreamed of getting married on the waterfront at the gorgeous Great Oak Manor in Chestertown, Maryland on the Eastern Shore. Mother Nature had different plans. After the getting ready portion of the day, we knew the rain was coming at some point. I hurried this crew outside to get as many outdoor shots as we could before the rain came. We were cut a little short but managed to get some amazing photographs outside and then continued shooting inside. The ceremony had to be moved inside as well but honestly at the end of the day, Alissa & Sam were married and Alissa handled the news like a pro. And besides, we wouldn’t have had those gorgeous skies to work with if the rain hadn’t been imminent during portraits. I think it all worked out :). After the ceremony, the party started in a tented reception and the rain left.  This crew kept the dance floor packed ALL night and it was very entertaining to watch if I do say so myself. Alissa & Sam are beautiful inside and out (seriously, look at both of their moms–these two have some really great genes going on!) and I’m so very honored that I was able to get to know these two and photograph the memories of their wedding day!

Ashley & Kirill | Baltimore Basilica & The Belvedere | Baltimore Wedding Photographer

Ashley & Kirill had a gorgeous wedding and wedding day! We started the day off getting ready at the Fairfield Inn & Suites. I have never photographed a getting ready here before but was pleasantly surprised with an amazing two story suite for the bride which was awesome. We then headed to the Baltimore Basilica for the ceremony. I don’t think a church can get much prettier than the Basilica. After the ceremony, we stopped by three different locations for couple and bridal party photos. It was an ambitious undertaking but we made it work and went to the Pagoda in Patterson Park, Johns Hopkins Hospital, and Mount Vernon Place. We even snuck in some photos at the always gorgeous Belvedere where Ashley & Kirill were having their reception. The evening continued with heartfelt toasts, eating, and some amazing dancing. Ashley & Kirill were so much fun and so gracious throughout their entire wedding day. I’m so overjoyed for these two and wish them much happiness in their future together!

Allie & Ryan | Downtown Annapolis | Annapolis Engagement Photographer

Allie & Ryan are two of the sweetest. We started the evening off with their adorable pup Colt on the waterfront in downtown Annapolis, Maryland. We roamed around and after a quick outfit change and this time without the pup, it was time for sunset and night portraits. I just LOVE how their photos turned out. I’m so excited for their Baltimore Country Club wedding with Elizabeth Bailey Weddings in just a few short months! After getting to know Allie & Ryan, I have no doubt that it will be one classy affair!
